Question about HP Compaq Presario V6000T Notebook
It sounds like your web browser is putting your downloads somewhere you
don't want automatically. If this is the case, depending on which
browser your using, try the steps below:
For Internet Explorer:
Make sure your doing save as. When you do a download, you get a dialogue box that shows you the current default folder. You can accept it as it is, or change it to something else. If you change it, the new folder will become the default in the future. I would suggest setting this to the desktop, then you can conveniently find your downloads.
Select - Tools > Options > Main Tab >
From here you could specify the desktop and say "Save files to" and they will always go there
You can say "Ask me every time" which will allow you to decide where they go.
Hope this was helpful.
