Question about Casio FX-115ES Scientific Calculator

# Trying to solve a e^x problem?

Hey i am trying to solve 20.3e^.025*20 using the casio 115ms and i don't know how....all i know is the answer is 33.5....HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not quite sure what you mean... you want to know how to do it by hand? I have the fx-115es, but when I type in what you said it gives me the answer (33.469)...

20.3 [x][SHIFT][e^]0.025 [)] [x] 20 Do not forget closing parenthesis )
key [e^] is the one above [ln]
The answer is 416.277 and not 33.5
Verification [e^]0.025 [)] =1.02531 and 20x20.3=406

Use the general power key labelled as [^], or [X to the y] or [Y to the x] depending on calculator.
3500000 [ / ] [(]7.5 [^] 20[)] [=] gives 1.103678993 E -11

I played with my calculator, and discovered that the "EXP" function does not play well with variables using the "CALC" function. Instead of EXP, use ' x 10 ^ C ' or whatever instead.
