MITSUBISHI VS-60705 Comcast related. Power went off, TV was not showing comcast anymore, I tried installing Channel Plus + and now cannot abort the message. The message has been on TV for 3 days already....

Check with comcast but have you tried to remove power from all units involved here for a while, then power back to see if the reboot will help or not.

RCA F13137--Have direct connection from cable (basic only) to TV. Autoprogram only finds 16 channels. Same set up with another TV in same jack finds 75 channels.

Make sure to check in the guide plus setup for the question "Do you have cable?" and answer it yes. Be sure that you answer the question "Do you have a cable box?" NO. It sounds like it is in antenna mode. Thanks

Using RCA P61939 without Guide Plus

Guide plus still works even if you don't have the wand hooked up. In the setup section of the guide plus there are several questions that must be answered properly or it won't function as you would like. It maybe labeled as options as well. Thanks

when this has happened to me in the past; if I remember correctly I hit home, stop, cancel, etc any of those gets it to send me the banner that if I stop now......it is not going to CANCEL loading!!! I then hit menu again, to cancel and I believe I select home...Now perhaps you think I SOUND a bit "iffy" it would be true; seeing how it has been at least 3 months since it has happened and I sure not going to go and hit that ****** to walk you thru it(he he) sorry but I know you know how it is!!! GOOD LUCK DON'T GIVE UP AND DO YOUR BEST TO NEVER HIT THAT TVGUIDE+ AGAIN (i have many times and its always a pain in my brain)

Unplug the TV for 4 hours or more. This is called a 'Hard Reset'. Then plug it back in, turn it on and let the TV do it's thing. It will set itself up. Just follow the TV setup prompts. Guide Plus is a feature on the TV. Much like a TV guide showing all channels, shows, description of shows, times, etc..

Have a problem with mits. vs-55601

The cancel button on the Base unit doesn't seem to work for this, you have to use the "Cancel" Button on the remote. Once you hit "Cancel" on the remote, the scan should exit, and then the buttons on the base unit should work again (barring any other issues). You should also be able to allow the scan to finish (takes a while especially if no signal on the channels), and when it's done it will exit. Hope that helps. Buzz
