How to change home map on used Garmin i3 street pilot

I bought Garmin i3 from E-bay and I am in rhode Island and the seller's home is in Kansas and it does not recognize that I am in rhode Island. I registered, changed home address, tried to reset and erase all seller's data, but would not reset. I downloaded the manual and it did not help, it does however recognize my home addreas but the map still shows Kansas, Please help!!

I had that problem when I was in Nevada then went to Texas. Just go outside for a few minutes so your gps can connect to the satillite to find your current position. Easy as that! :-)

Try this:
Reset the GPS (you'll find the reset button somewhere in the back of the GPS.
when you reset it, make sure your GPS is out there- where it can pick up your location (satellite).
After that- you can set your home location from the favorites area.
Hope that will help.

I couldn't figure out how to change my map location from Nevada to Texas while in the house. I looked all over the menus on the gps but got no info. So fixya told me to go outside for 10 minutes or so (I didn't need that much time, it only took minutes) with the gps turned on and let the satillite find your current location (which was Texas for me). That's it! So simple, I should have thought of it!

Where do you find collossus of rhode?

In real life the Colossus of Rhode cannot be found; it no longer exists. When it did exist it could be found in the city of Rhodes on the ancient Greek island of Rhodes.

In God of War II, the Colossus is near the beginning of the game. It is the first boss you encounter during the first level, the city of Rhodes.

Some towns are known by two different names; for example: Orange Park/Flemming Island, Florida. Zip is 32003 for both. Porter Ranch/Northridge, California. Zip is 91326. Try either entering the alternate name (if their is one) or just the zip code...Hope this works...It solved my problem...Jim
