Question about Samsung SGH-D500 Cellular Phone
I'm pretty sure, that any technician will know, that the phone has been in the water. Liquid contamination damage on the board (PCB or PBA) will be present and event will not, Samsung uses liquid indicators in their phones. It is a small piece of paper with violet crosses (3 pcs). They will get white if the phone was in the touch with any liquid. Even phone could work, there can be a problem like a "short battery life" or device will get overheated. In this case, just open the phone (don't worry about, it's pretty easy) and put the white metaldom down. Then clear key pads on the board with as strong alcohol as you have. Clean the metaldom too (just those small iron pieces). Put it back and tadaaa... Everithing works. If there is a problem with sub keys, do the same. Don't worry, D500 is very easy to be opened.
