Question about Gateway 400SD4 Notebook
Been running windows xp, but the computer has begun to freeze. Cleared out everthing and rebooted with the manufacuter's discs. added only office 2003. Still freezes. But I can run it in Safe mode. Would and increase in the 384 Ram help?
If you've only got 384mb of RAM then yes an increase would definitely help. You're probably running with close to the bare minimum of RAM. If you're machine (and budget) can handle it, go for 1 Gig at least.
