As evident from the message, you are getting the error 0x800CCC92 in Windows Live Mail because the password you had entered is not correct. Or, in other words, the password provided to the email client does not match the account username. Thus, to solve the Windows Live Mail error 0x800CCC92, you have to double check both the password and the user ID (username) you had supplied when the email account was set up. Please understand that in order to access your email account successfully, the login information has to be correct.
Here are the settings of yahoo mail and yahoo mail plus
Yahoo! Mail Settings Yahoo Mail offers standard POP3 access for receiving emails incoming through your Yahoo mailbox, by using your favorite email client software. To setup your email client for working with your Yahoo account, you need to select the POP3 protocol and use the following mail server settings:
Yahoo Incoming Mail Server (POP3) - pop.mail.yahoo.com (SSL enabled, port 465)
Yahoo Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) - smtp.mail.yahoo.com (SSL enabled, port 995)
POP Yahoo! Mail Plus email server settings
Yahoo Plus Incoming Mail Server (POP3) - plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com (SSL enabled, port 995)
Yahoo Plus Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) - plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com (SSL enabled, port 465, use authentication)
for the instructions on how to setup outlook please click here
hope this helps
my understanding is that you need to have yave yahoo plus to get this to work, yahoo plus is the paid version for you to have pop access which means be able to use an email client (like outlook) to retrieve yahoo mail there.
now if you have not paid for yahoo plus you can do the following:
1. switch your yahoo account to be localized to asia, which should also (for now) allow you to use pop access on a free yahoo account, you need to look around into the account options (Its under Account Info, Account Settings,Set Language Site and Time Zone or something like that)
2. once 1 has been completed go into yahoo and add your yahoo account,
* for logon info use only your yahoo user name (not the @yahoo.com)
* enter your correct password
*for incoming email server: pop.mail.yahoo.com
*for outgoing email server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
3. go into more settings>advance
* incoming server port should be 110
*outgoing server port should be 587
Install YPOPs! and make sure it is running. * Select Tools ' Account Settings... from the menu in Outlook * Go to the E-mail tab * Click New * Make sure Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP is selected. * Click Next > * Type your name (what you want to appear in the From: line of messages you send) under Your Name * Enter your full Yahoo! Mail address (e.g. "email@example.com") under E-mail Address * Make sure Manually configure server settings or additional server types is checked * Click Next > * Make sure Internet E-mail is selected. * Click Next > * Make sure POP3 is selected under Account Type * Type "127.0.0.1" under both Incoming mail server: and Outgoing mail server (SMTP) * Type your Yahoo! ID under User Name - The Yahoo! ID is also the first part of your Yahoo! Mail address, i.e. everything before "@yahoo.com". If your Yahoo! Mail address is "firstname.lastname@example.org", the ID is "example". * Enter your Yahoo! Mail password under Password:. * Click More Settings .... * Go to the Outgoing Server tab. * Make sure My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication is checked. - Leave Use same settings as my incoming mail server selected. * Click OK. * Now click Next >. * Click Finish.

Hi Harshal, If you are using free Email from Yahoo and trying to configure it with MS Outlook or outlook Express as POP account then you won't be able to do that. Because long time ago yahoo stopped supporting POP accounts for free accounts. So you can't configure free yahoo account on Outlook.
setup your yahoo mail on any email client(outlook express,ms outlook etc) and download the emails
with the below settings
