Ok, this is a new one to me: I popped in the cd to installed and the screen to install the tablet came up, then a screen on top of it says: Epson Scan can not be started. Please troubleshoot from the assistant... I have tried to redo this several times and I still get a pop up relating to my Epson printer, which there is nothing wrong. Is there a conflict here? I am confused...please help!! Thanks!

I had a similar problem myself, this is due to temp files which are extracted during an installation.
What happened is that a program extracted a setup file that was Read only into the temp directory. and that this file could not be overwritten or deleted, by the system (as it should be able to.
to fix look in your temp directories to find this bogus setup file, when you find it delete it.
you will need to be able to see hidden files & directories
you can use the search function to find them, search "temp"

- on win Xp you have several, one will be in the windows directory, and you have once for each user profile,you will need to be able to see hidden files & directories
