Question about Samsung BD-P1500 Blu-Ray Player
I have a Samsung Blu-ray player model BD-P1500. To date it has played BR and DVDs alike with no problems. Tried to play the new Bond and couldn't get past the menu. Wen to the Samsung site and only found firmware downloads for PCs. I have a MAC. Any suggestions?!! Help! Thanks.
Hey same problem here, but I just downloaded the CD version anyways... then dropped the .RUF file onto my desktop, selected it, burnt it to a CD-R (RW will also work) and popped it into the BD-P1500, so far it seems to be running along steadily in the update process... hope this solves your problem.

Download the firmware for the USB drive. Put the files on the USB drive and plug that into the Blu-ray player. You can update the firmware that way too. The 1500 also can update its firmware via the Internet.
