I pulled u uhf out of my vehicle and replaced it with a pro 520 xl uniden uhf but it won't work.

generally, a standard AM only CB will use a 3amp fuse.

For this radio you adjust power through coils in the back of the radio. Using a watt meter and a plastic screw driver push coils L201 and L202 together and the power output will decrease. If D203 (modulation limiter) has been removed you can replace that as well. This should get you fixed up. Good luck.

Not all remote are compatible with all our receivers. Depending on the receiver and remote model numbers, if they are compatible you can readdress the remote to the receiver. I have provided a link for readdressing the remote to the receiver. I hope this helps.

What brand of watt metter are you using?
Most all of them can be adjusted inside.
I have seen a 4 watt radio key 9 watts on some
meters.I have a two-way shop for over 25 years
mostly VHF an UHF but I cut my teath on CB.
