Question about HP Pavilion dv2000t Notebook
It fell on its side i guess and it must have been hard because the screen is white in some areas and full of unusual colors in others and then it the background the computer is working but it seems the white is on the screen only. can it be fixed or do i have to get a whole new computer
You can purchase just the display piece for replacement. It is tedious to take apart the whole laptop because the display is plugged into the motherboard at the bottom, but usually cheaper than replacing the whole computer. Instructions for replacing the display piece can be found on the manufactures website in PDF form. Displays can be also be purchased from the manufacturer but it is much cheaper to buy them from a highly rated seller on Ebay.
