my brother in-law decided to clean my system because i was haveing problems when i got roadrunner and now i lost my sound file and i dont know what to do ive tried every thing and i cant seem to get it back i hope some one can help me

Reinstall the software that came with the soundcard.

What do you mean "sound file"? The driver? An audio file (like mp3, wav, etc..)?
