Question about Bose Lifestyle 38 System
I have a Sony TV which is connected through my Bose Lifestyle system. Somehow the audio has gone off and we cannot get it back on. Help!
The obvious start is: are the cables all connected?
1) Make sure the BOSE Audio select section has the TV AUDIO switched to ON. Your TV AUDIO can be off because if you leave it on you will hear a slight echo/delay/reverb sound.
2) Next, check that the input is correctly selected on the BOSE system. ie. Is the source coming from your DVD player or VCR,etc.
3)Go to whatever VIDEO input you have to go to in order for you to be able to see the on-screen data for how your BOSE SYSTEM is set up.For me it was my AV1. Usually it is a blue screen when active. Chose SET-UP and SYSTEM on your hand-held remote control unit to make the correct selections.
4)Make sure ALL speakers are selected.
5)Make sure all the AUDIO selects including all the surround speakers are selected to ON.
6)Then gradually turn your AUDIO section up and you SHOULD hear your TV audio.
