I will do first a full printer cleaning, that mean take off all dust and anything can that can be inside the printer (ex.bugs and dirt accumulation). Second try to locate the printer rollers and check if they are in good condition.Printer rollers need to be in good condition because those are the parts that move the paper inside the printer. Also when you feed the papers into the feeder make sure you air the paper so they don,t stick together.
To start ensure that is not a software problem.
Go to Control Panel >> Installed Printers.
Remove the printer.
Install the printer again using the software disk or downloading the driver software from Brother website.
If that does not fix the problem, and the printer prints blank sheets, then it is usually a clogged printhead.
The printheads can be cleaned removing the ink carriage and soaking it in isopropyl alcohol overnight.
If that does not work, then the printhead must be replaced.
