There is a bolt under the fabric softner dispenser (if you have one) if not, its a plastic cap on the top of your agitator which pops off by hand or a butter knife.. then there is a bolt under there that holds the unit down..grap the bottom of your agitator and loosen the bolt and remove it...then lift up carefully on the whole thing..careful not to loose the seal and bolt to put the agitator back in place....good luck..

Before trying to remove the agitator, first try untwisting the stuck clothing. Figure out the direction in which the agitator spins (usually the direction in which it is easy to turn the drum), then hold the outside drum in place while spinning the agitator in the opposite direction. This is to reverse the direction of the agitator to untwist the clothing from underneath it. As you continue to reverse spin the agitator, slowly pull the piece of clothing out and untwist until it is completely free of the agitator. If this fails, then try removing the agitator to retrieve your clothing.

There is cloth stuck under the aggitator on my Capacity plus Admiral washing machine. Model #lnc6766B71 how do I remove the aggitator

As a general rule Admiral is a VERY inexpensive machine, so you may be better off with a new one if the parts prove expensive. MAKE SURE TO UNPLUG MACHINE.. Be careful the agitator doesn't come loose suddenly when you are removing it, I have seen more than one bruise on the face from this.. hold your head to the side when pulling it off.

How to remove clothes stuck under agitator

the agitator should pull straight up, you may have to twist it back and forth as you pull upward. when you put it back on make sure its all the way down and in place, this may be the reason your clothes are getting stuck under it.

How to remove simpson agitator>

I am not familiar with a Simpson but the nut securing the agitator is
commonly accessed by removing the fabric softener receptacle
and then a plastic cover which sits directly over the nut. If the
agitator proves difficult to remove tap a block of wood against it
and rotate upward until it releases. I hope this works for you.

I have a GE top load Model GTWN 4950L, there's a belt (cloth) that's stuck around the bottom of agitator. How do I remove it?

On the top of the agitator is a cap. Take it off, then there is a nut and a lock washer and you remove those and lift out the agitator. Then you can take the belt out.

Cloth stuck in between the bottom

Possible that the cloth is stuck on the agitator of the machine due to gaps with the spindle. You need to reverse the motor manually while holding the cloth to come out freely. If there is friction , slowly agitate to allow free movement to the stuck material. If there is play on the spindle and bearing then you need to reset the mechanism,
