Re: Wii wont take in CD!
Sounds like slot disc loading mechanism gearing is misaligned.. Slot drives are difficult to fiddle with, I suggest you try to get this repaired under warranty, (don't mention that you dropped it though, just say it stopped working)
Maybe you could get a random disc and try to shove it in. if it goes in and the wii tries to read it then you can probably do it with the real games.
but youll need to work out how to pull the first cd out before that...

when you put a game in your wii, it will lock into your wii with some clips. When your wii fell, the dvd came loose. so the eject button wont work anymore. What you can try, is try to pick the dvd out with a pincet. if that won't work, you should open up your wii and then remove the dvd.
sometime on consoles there is a small pin like hole next to the drive. a paper clip inserted into this and jiggled around might free the disc to open. works on computers might work for you. but if it fell looks like its f**ked
Hi my name is Juan and the problem you got is with the bluray laser lens they have stoped reading games you can check this out put a cd on your ps3 and at the same time place your ear on top cover and will heard 3 cliking noises of the laser but make no noise because this cliking noise is so fine that you need to make no noise i goes clik clik clik you will hear it but make sure you put your ear on top cover at the same time you insert the disk it akes about 3 -4 seconds for the cliking noise after you have inserd the cd and the solution is to replace the laser lens I am a ebay thrusted power seller and I can get you one if you want to
Reset your power adapter.......unplug it from the wall and wii console. Let it sit for about 2 or 3 min to reset. Now plug it back into the wii console and see if that does the trick.....Mine worked after that. If yours doesn't I would just call Nintendo.
Hi Sky606, have you tried cleaning the game disk? Have you tried using other game disks in the wii to make sure it's not just one disk that is causing the problem. Do you have a Nintendo Wii CD / DVD Discs and Lens Auto Cleaning System ? If you don't you might want to purchase one and see if that helps, because your wii lens might need cleaning ! If all of that fails, your wii may need repairs, the lens that reads the CD/DVD could need adjustment or replacement ! One other small note,I always have a small external fan blowing on my wii when in use so that the wii wont over heat. Heat kills electronics ! I Hope this advice helps.
ok there is a safe way which requires opening top case try not to turn wii to much while taken off the top case this will keep your cd's from getting scratched
the cd's have lodged ontop the back plate
the other way
turn side ways you should be able to shake machine youll here the cd's slide onto each other lay flat and both cd's should slide out on tray
this will definatley scratch your cd's but it does work and its a form of the shuffle
