SOURCE: We had the Avital 4003
You mean the igniton powers up but it does not start, correct? Sounds like the remote starter is not sending power to the starter. Did it ever work? It's possible that one of the 30amp fuses (one that supplies power to the starter output of the remote starter) is blown. If there is 12 volts present, check for voltage at the starter wire (purple) from the remote starter. If it has voltage, make sure it's connected. Also make sure that the harnesses of the remote starter are completely plugged into the module.
SOURCE: Have a 4003 Avital remote
The Avital remote module connection is shorting with the ignition switch or there is loose connection or shorting between starter and battery connection.Get this connections re-checked and confirmed. If any live wire connections is remained loose or not connected properly or coming in contact with any other metal part.------------check out.Keep updated .thanks.Helpmech,'
