Question about Motorola HT1000, MTS2000, MTX8000/9000 Compatible 2 Way Radio Battery Eliminator
When you have the battery, in the appropriate cup/adapter of your BMS WPLN4079 charger, wait for any sporatic activity on the screen to cease (there is usually a little number jumping from dropping the battery in), then press the analyze button. Now your battery will cycle for anywhere from 1 to 4 hours. When it is done you will see a number representing the mAH on the screen. You take this number and divide it by the mAH capacity of the battery. This will tell you how good your battery is. 70% and above is acceptable. Anything below 70% you should consider replacement.
Note: This part number is for a BMS charger, not an Impress. However, you can charge and condition impress batteries on this charger provided you have the correct cup.
