try to check the remote responses to the buttons, get a camera and put it directly on the sensor of the remote if the light is blinking when you press the buttons the remote is ok if not try to replace it with another sensor from a defective remote

One of the circuit boards should be replaced inside, probably the power supply, the good thing is that screen is ok and it's a most expansive part, you can take it to the local repair shop for diagnostic and repair.

What is rating of fuse in your TV like amperes and volts.
There is Thermistor in TV for degaussing the picture tube while in start up. This part requires heavy current to work for a second or two.
You can increase little bit current rating of fuse to avoid blow off.
