Goodluck!

You could try to clean the laser, with a special cleaning disk. Don't try to clean a laser by opening the player, you will damage the system.
If it is a CD burned in a PC, it also can be the laser is now a bit less, not capable reading CD-R or CD-RW, and still can read normal CD's

I have my RCA music system it won't let me play music on it. What do I do?

Check the cd types that that system will play. Depending on the type of recorded material, some CDs won't play on certain systems.

I made a picture slideshow with music on a cd-rw and when i play it back to watch it skips

Save the SlideShow to a normal CD-R instead. Seems like the read speed of the CD-RW is affecting performance.

Cant eject a music cd from superdrive. machine recognizes cd. wont play cd. cd also has video content which machine does not show video sector on desktop. any ideas?

depending on how the video was saved, you may not have the right codecs installed on your machine to play it. Verify what format the video is in, and that will give you some insight as to what software or codec is needed to play or decode it.
Hope this helps!

Inability to play recorded songs

maybe the music you are trying to play is protected as many music you buy over the internet is. try loading your player with music you ripped from a cd or make sure the protected music is transfered directly to your player with the program you bought the music with.
