Question about Motorola Computers & Internet
I am having problems configuring the "Enter" key with the LS7708 scanner coupled to an IO 122-key terminal keyboard (PS2 style) with 5250 emulation. The "Enter" key programming method translates into the "Field Exit" key rather than an "Enter"
Using Symbol synapse cable STI80-0200 PS2 minidin6
We have several of these LS7708 scanners connected to an IBM 122-key terminal keyboard (RJ-45) also 5250 emulation and they work perfect on them using the regular method of programming of the "Enter" key
You will have to set up a new Suffix -- the ASCII suffix for a "field exit" is 7009. You can contact the Symbol/Motorola Help Desk at 1-800-653-5350. Have you manual handy. If you don't have a manual, download one at http://support.symbol.com/support/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=6953101apdf&sliceId=&dialogID=118614144&stateId=1%200%20118568992
