Question about Kitchen Ranges
Hi, I'm about to move into a house with an Frigadaire Compact 30 stove, it has the clock/timer in the rear left corner. The clock ticks every second. I want to stop the ticking even if it disables the clock. Can I? Thank you, Diana
It isn't that hard to get the clock to stop ticking.
Disconnect power to stove so that you do not get a shock.
Take off back panel screws behind the clock.
disconnect the wires to the clock.
Make sure that the wires are not touching anything metal. If they are not insulated, you will want to tape them.
Do not use the hammer to the dial method to get the clock to stop. It is fast but may cause damage.
