When trying to get on the internet I have DSL I get unable to find sever like Fire fox this happens alot, but if I use internet explorer I can get on , after that I can get on with Fire fox. for a while then I can"t after it sits for a while????? my network provider said I needed to remove my network adapter and reinstall it, ?????

well try again and check if the other browsers work fine...if still not solved try reinstalling

explorer gone bad, you need to upgrade windows explorer or install some other browser like opra, chrome or fire fox

Try to see if your antivirus have quarantine some files from firefox. Normally you find the quarantine files throw the main screen of your antivirus

you have to clear your cookies and history as well as form data and cache, you do this by the following methods,

1. this is for the fire fox browser only. tools > select clear resent history for fire fox 3+

for fire fox older version 2.0 and below it is tools> clear private data

for internet explorer go to tools> internet options > delete cookies > delete files > may want to also clear history. this will remove that files cache data stored by web site cookies for automatic log in and authentication good luck.

once open youtube with internet explorer it may work there

try to reset the intenet exploere settings ...
Sometime the internet explorer settigns gets corrupted ....

To reset the internet explorer setting
(tools>internet options>advanced>reset)

You can try to disable or lessen the sececurity feature of the firewall and also you can try to optimized your browser, please follow these steps:

if your computer have some important nature date then stop using explorer for some time, the microsoft is trying to fix issue of explorer. try the google chrome or fire fox.

If i were you i would reinstall Windows Explorer.
-You can find the installer on many software CDs as an extra,or
look for (Internet Explorer Setup), on the internet using another PC, download and copy it to a cd and take it to your PC and intall it.
I recommend Internet Explorer 6.0, then if you want you can upgrade to IE 7 on the internet.
I haven't use fire fox because i'm so used to IE that i don't like any other.( there are many internet Navigators you can choose from) just do a google search and you will find .
its up to you which one is better.
