F-06 failure light on Kenmore HE Elite
Kenmore HE Elite gets through half the cycle and F-06 signal goes off. I tried to drain/spin and F-06 goes off again.
The main control board was replaced 5-07; after similar problems occurred.
I don't want another $400 bill to get the washer working again!

- i have had this happen on occasion and would just hit the pause button and then hit the start button again. this usually works but tonight i have tried to wash 1 load 4 x's and finally on the 4th i got it finished. i am doing a cleaning cycle at this moment and it has occurred again......f 06 what to do................- tuffiFeb 04, 2008
- several days ago the same started happening on mine too. I unplugged it and it didnt work, I am checking the wires to see if thats it and if it doesnt work I will do "reiki" to my washer machine and I'll let you know what did work.- GuestSolution #1

Unplugging it sometimes corrects the problem. However, it must be unplugged for SEVERAL minutes. If that does not work then check the wire harness that goes to all your connectors on the Motor, MCU, and CCU. A loose wire connector can give this F06 error. Carefully disconnect and reconnect every wiring plug on the Washer. Try it to see if it is working. If not, then its like a faulty CCU, check your owners manual, some are covered under warranty for up to 5 yrs.
