SOURCE: Flowtron LE-900D Leaf Shredder- Spinner flies off.

The screw is a common one, Make sure it is at least a grade 5 or grade 8. The o-ring may be another matter, but should be available at hardware and most definitely a hydraulic hose shop would have it.

How do I adjust the leg height of my drafting table?

There should be screws/knobs at the table base. I've also seen these at the front legs of the table. You have to loosen the knobs, adjust the height and then tighten the knobs once you are happy with the height.

Proline Piano Keyboard Stand Assembly Hi, I just bought a Proline piano stand for an electronic keyboard, and the first step on the assembly directions is to move the clutch to the middle position....

Normally on my stand like this you PULL the knob outward (not turn it) to disengage the pin from the plate with the holes in it... Works quite well and the stand is moree stable than many.

I have a ProMaster 6400 tripod. I can make it swivel from left to right, but how do you make it move up and down?

There is a knob at the junction of the cross-supports for the legs. I would think you would need to loosen this before the crank will work. But I do not have this model. On mine, the knob is higher on the shaft by the crank. Hope that helps.

I purchased a model 215V wurlitzer black classroom electronic piano at an auction. It sounds great and clear. it is missing both horizontal legs that attatch to the bottom left and bottom rt side. the...

Finding those leg parts will be near impossible. If possible either make them or have a cabinet shop make them for you. The sustain pedal might have been attached via those missing leg parts.

For knobs, try the surplus electronic online stores like Electronic Golmine.com to find something suitable.

You can also try asking on the organforum.com.

Knob to turn sound up has come off how to fix?

Well thyat does dose a problem. Putting a know back on is easy by comparison. Even finding a new know that has a better screw to hold it to the shaft is easy.

However if the whole assembly has left the main board that can be a real tough job to get it back in place.
You can try, but it might be cheaper and less frustrating to take it for repair.

First the holes have to be cleaned, taking care not to damage the tracks of solder on the board
Then strraighten and clean off the solder on the legs of the sound pot. renter the legs to the board and carefully resolder the legs to the board.
If you keep the iron on the site too long you can burn the board or even overheat the volime pot so be careful. That is why I said better to have it done by someone with the skill
Please rate my help++++Thanks for using FIXYA

How do you remove the shift knob on a 2001 chev cavilier

There is a clip on the lower front of the knob assembly that must be removed with a pick. The knob will then lift straight up. (by "front" of the knob, I mean the side toward the front of the car.) The clip resembles a large staple. the legs of the clip go through the knob assembly and slide into slots that are machined into the shift lever tube.

How do I remove the mount for the stand on a Viewsonic VPW450HD Plasma TV?

If you are using the stock leg's.

I have the same model, there are 4 knobs on the back of the unit that get inserted into the legs. BE CAREFUL... the unit is heavy, All you have to do is raise one end of the unit up about 1 1/2" and pull towards you a little. You may have to fudge with it a little until it comes out of the leg, but that should be all you need to do.

Leg lock broken

Assuming you still have the female part with the treads in tact, you can do what I did. I used a hose clamp, the kind used on radiators, but larger. First, take off the lock down knob, then put the hose clamp over the broken plastic housing and mark where the knob would screw through. Then remove the hose clamp, placing it on a sturdy surface and use a 5/16 drill bit to make a hole where the lock down know will pass through. Place the hose clamp over the plastic housing, insert the knob, tighten the hose clamp (but not so much that it restricts the tripod leg from moving) and you are done! I can send you pictures of the process and the final result. It saved me from buying a new tripod! I can be e-mailed at boingsplatplop@yahoo.com if you have questions.
