I have a hp pavilion a305w, with a ECS 741GXm motherboard. It does not give any beed codes or show anything on the monitor. I have checked all connections. The only things connected are the monitor, keyboard and mouse. I know the monitor and cable are good.

- Yes, everything seems to power up, the fans, power supply, and the hard drive comes on, but it does not load any of the BIOS. I disconnected everything and took out all of the memory, but still nothing on the monitor. No BIOS loading. Thanks

- No, it does not ever beep or show anything on the monitor, not even a cursor. I have cleared the cmos.
first thing to do is crack her open and unplug everything including the PCI cards and clear the CMOS via a jumper on the board then try to boot if that doesn work try taking the memory out , if it beeps then its more than likely memory, but if it still wont beep you either have a bad mainboard, powersupply or processor.
Let us know :-)

Then you more than likely have a bad mobo or processor. :-(
