Hi, This problem sounds more like a failing poewr supply than a bios problem. Can you use a multimeter? If so then check the voltage output from your power supply. The red wire = 6v+or-1v. The yellow wire= 12v+or- 1v. black is negative. If you are not sure then try a different power supply. Goodluck mistyman

Intel 845 GVSR Display problem

did you used the correct bios update, because if you used the wrong update you will encounter these problems, your motherboard has a built in vga and no vga expansion slots only 3 pci, the only way to solve these is if you can find a pci video card which is sometimes hard to find, or just revert back to your old bios version then maybe your display will comeback

IBM Netvista PC is not ready for Windows XP, you should update its BIOS on its version so that you can install windows XP, maybe ACPI is not ready yet for this motherboard compliance to Windows XP, so download it at www.ibm.com

Continuously reboots

Hi there
First you will need to boot up. When you do this you need to go into bios and then go to boot and disable the hard drive floppy and any other drivers. You must make sure you keep the cd driver as 'able', save setting and exit out of bios. This will let you reboot. After it`s done, the partition in the computer will reboot the computer. Make sure to go back into bios and able the hard drive, floppy etc...
I had the same problem, and solved it this way.

System reboot automaticly

take the side off the pc and check for air circulation blockage, clean off any dust on the heatsink and fan incase it is an overheating problem, if so leave the side off and see if it still reboots. If it's not a heat problem then it must be a driver fault, go to control panel> performance and maintanance>administratve tools>event viewer and look in the left column and click at programmes and software and then on the right see if there are any red crosses or exclamation marks, if so right click on the line and then click properties to give a clue as to the problem.
