No...it's a fuser error (low warm up temperature)...It's a blown fuse, or lamp, and the code can only be reset in 'service mode'after fixing the fault

On the Kodak ESP 5200 series what does a 3501 error mean? can it be fixed by a user? will new cartridges fix the problem?

Hi!

The 3501 error code means "acces door open"

Please be sure that the printer's acces door is well closed.

If this doesn't fix the problem, please do the following:
1. Turn the printer off by pressing the on/off button
2. Unplug the power cord
3. wait for 1 minute
4. plug the power cord back in
5. turn the printer on

Hope it helped.

Regards,

Bogdan

F 28 error code on a mhwe450ww

"F28" fault code means the communication between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and Motor Control Unit (MCU) cannot be sent correctly. See image below for additional information. NOTE: Disconnect the power cord from the power source before removing any panels.

there is likely a loose wire connection at the MCU, CCU or at the motor. The intermittent "F28" could also be caused by a loose solder joint on CCU or MCU. This type of intermittent failure can be very hard to pin point (click over image for zoom)...

Hope helps.

8X10 photos print very bad

What do you mean by very bad - Does the image look bad? If so hold down the COPY and PHOTO button - A Demosheet prints out, how does that look? If the same: go to ww.kodak.com/go/itg and follow the instructions there. If it looks perfect then there's an issue with the source of your images

Prints only web page source code

Still have your old printer? If so, try it and see if it prints OK. Unfortunately Kodak sold a raft of defective printers and is replacing them with more defective printers. Gonna give Kodak a black-eye on this. I was involved with the Kodak "ThinkInk" project when they introduced these printers with the NASCAR Kodak car (#12 car ) at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood. Thought they were great and recommended them to friends - Most were defective.

If your's is defective, keep the pressure on Kodak to send you an upgrade. They are good about exchanging them but the quality control is poor.

Perhaps your printer vendor will allow you to try another printer or another brand to assure it is the printer and not the computer.

Cheers

Kodak 5100 all in one printer, 3802 code

You need to contact kodak and ask for a replacement print head, explain the code and whats been happening.

www.kodak.co.uk or www.kodak.com

They will probably tell you to download new drivers and wash your printhead ect ect but nothing that helps.

I had the same problem with the same printer.

I couldn't get Kodak to send out a printhead, so after weeks of messing around, I took it back for a refund.

If you do manage to get a new printhead here are the instructions on how to remove and replace it.
