Question about Teac DV-H350 DVD Player

1 Answer

Dvd player won't power up

When I hit the power button it will only blink on, and then goes back to rest mode. I've tried unplugging it in hopes that it would reset- but nothing changes. any suggestions?

    I have a similar problem with a TEAC AG-H500 receiver. The power led on the main swith goes out so there is no standby and the Radio station presets are all lost. It will however come back on if I first unplug and then re-plug it in.

Hi. In most cases the reason you get this problem on DVD players, Vcrs, Cable boxes is down to electrolytic capacitors in the power supply. Look for any caps that are bulging or may have wet stain on the circuit at the bottom of them. Any bulging or leaky caps will need replacing. Im not familiar with this machine so sorry I cant give you position numbers.

Hp desktop blinking green light won't come on

mine does that when it's in stand-by mode. I just push the power button and it comes on....

Assuming you've already tried that....push and hold the power-button down for 5 seconds and the power SHOULD go out. *IF* it does not, then disconnect the power cord in the back for 1min....then reconnect and try to boot. If it *DOES*, then do the same...unplug the power cord for 1min and reconnect and boot.

Samsung blu-ray won't load or eject

Someone is going to have to open it and look to see if the disc inside is out of position or jammed in some way----sometimes you can gently move it a little back into the position where it will eject the disc--which could be your entire issue.

Stuck on Standby

Do a hard reset. Unplug it from the socket, the DVD and leave disconnected for 4 hours. This may or may not help, but it is a necessary step to restore all internal software codes to their factory settings.

Hope this may help;

DVD player stuck in standby mode

Bad caps in the power supply is causing this. C17 (10v,470uf), C17,c14 (10v,1000uf) and C18 (10v,470uf). Replace with same capacitance values but 25 volt rating 85 C. Just fixed mine half hour ago works great.
