Washer tub bangs when in spin cycle

I have an Admiral Designer Series top load washer. During the spin cycle the tub bangs so badly that the washer actually moves. The front feet are balanced. What is the problem? I don't have a model number to give you, however a lady asked a question about her machine that sounded exactly like mine and the model # was AAV7000A. Is there a repair guide for parts?

I have the same problem. My washer does this very often and load size doesn't matter and redistributing the load carefully is the only way to get the load finished - it shouldn't be this sensitive. I had a Kenmore for 20 years before getting this admiral and never experienced anything like it. My whole family knows that when you hear the slightest banging, you better get to the machine. My son started a load before he went to work.....when we got home that night the washer was 3 feet away from the wall! This is wrong.

There is not a repair guide , sounds like a spring may have broke or came loose inside on the frame take the front panel off to check for loose parts.
it may just be an off balanced load as well.

Try running a smaller load. Sometimes when you put too big of a load in the washer it will not balance properly.

Sometimes when you have this problem, stop the machine and manually redistribute the clothes so that they look like they are even in the tub and start again.

There are also springs that center the tub in the machine and this could be a problem, but it is not as likely.

There are a lot of distributors of parts online if you need to order parts.

Maytag Neptune front load washer model MAH3000AW, load during spin cycle

YOU MEAN LOUD DURING SPIN CYCLE? IF THAT SO, WHAT KIND OF NOISE? BANGING NOISE MEANS YOU HAVE UNBALANCED LOAD OR ONE OF THE SUSPENSION IS BAD OR FELL OFF. GRINDING NOISE MEANS YOU HAVE A BAD TUB BEARING, TO REPLACE THAT, YOU HAVE TO REPLACE THE WHOLE REAR TUB ASSEMBLY, VERY COSTLY. MEANS YOU PROBABLY BE BUYING A NEW WASHER.

Sometimes does not spin enough to wring out water from clothes.

The spin cycle should be on a timer, and shouldn't be able to change how long it spins. The same timer that controls all the cycles of your washer.Your pump may be trying to go out,and isn't removing the water fast enough. This will keep water in the tub,and the normal spin cycle isn't long enough to let the pump get the job done.Another problem might be a clog in your drain hose.Another problem could be the drain hose is set to high above the pump, and the pump can't push it up that high (shouldn't be a problem if you are using the hose that came with the washer, and not extending it with another hose or something.)

Front Loading Washer - Load Banging During Spin Cycle

hello, your problem is that your shocks are bad and need to be replaced. you can access them by removing the front lower panel. make sure you unplug the washer first. you will see 2 of them on either side of the tub. i belive you can twist the upper portion and then remove the bottom screew and remove the shock. of course before you start you should have the new shocks. and make sure their is no water in the tub.
