Question about Frigidaire Affinity ATF7000ES Front Load Washer
When the load of laundry has finished washing, the clothes still have soapy residue and are wet, wet, wet. I tried switching from one setting to another (from normal to permanent press) and still the wash cycle is not complete.
Sounds like it's likely a clog in your drain line. I'd start by checking that. Your best bet is to take off the back panel, unclamp the line (it's grey) and checking it with a wire hanger. If that doesn't work, do the same thing to the line that connects to the exterior drain line.
If both those are clear, the next thing it could be is the actual pump--and, possibly, specifically the motor for the pump. I'd check the pump line and assembly first, using the information found here: http://www.fixya.com/support/t289401-error_code_20. I had the same problem as you shortly before I started getting the error code 20, and you'll see how I (and others) solved it. I recommend trying the shortcut Keith_Mann offers and if the white basket has not gotten forced into the central pump chamber as it did with mine.
If there is no clog in the pump or drain line, the problem is likely the actual motor of the pump. I'd recommend troubleshooting it by leaving the back panel off, then taking a towel you've thoroughly wetted down and placing it in the drum and setting your machine to spin. Make sure the washing machine is still turned around so you can see the back assembly. Crouch down and watch to see/hear if the pump motor is activating. If not, you'll have to call a repairman to have it replaced.
Good luck. Hope you can fix it yourself!

Looks like you washer is not spinning your clothes out and maybe not agitate them either. Start your machine normaly on heavy load, watch it and check if it fill and moves back then drains and goes into a spin.. if water is still in the machine then you may have something stuck in the drain. If it fulls and drains then you may have a motor or control problem. If its still under warranty you will need to call authorized repair service or authorized frigidaire service. if not under warranty and you want to repair it yourself let us know and we can help.
