Question about Kenwood KVT-617DVD Car DVD Player
I have a KVT-727DVD player, when i turn the sound up to a resonable level the stereo and/or car (after about 30 secs) automatically reduces the sound/bass so that it sounds all distorted. To rectify the problem i have to either turn the stereo off or reduce the sound to basically nothing for about a minute to allow the stereo to "reset" then i can turn it up again. Unfortunately once it has happened once it then continues to do this problem pretty regularly for the remainder of the journey. I have a BMW 55 plate 3 series convertible and obviously the stereo came with a suitable amp. THe car is fitted with one of those systems that automatically turns up the volume when outside noise is high, which may explain why this problem usually seems to occur when the roof is down, does anyone know if i can turn this feature off and see if it rectifies the problem or do i need to do something else? PLease help!!!!!
