Grinding Noise in my scanner

By parkerlevi on Apr 15, 2009

" "
Epson Perfection V100.  When the scanner previews or scans a document the scanner makes a loud grinding noise.  The picture in the document I'm trying to scan is stretch out of shape.  Does anyone know the reason for this? Thanks so much in advance. Levi

Try cleaning the guide bar that the scanning head rides on, apply a thin film of lithium grease on the guide bar
