Question about Computers & Internet
How many beeps do you hear...is it continuous or a certain number of beeps? Other than the beeping, does the computer boot and run normally? What brand/model is this computer? Does the beeping occur if you start the computer with the battery removed?
If there is a certain number of beeps, you are hearing an error alert. Depending on the manufacturer and model of your computer, the beeping indicates a problem with the RAM, display, chipset, battery, etc. That is why the requested information is necessary.
You can, also, diagnose the beeping by searching "error beeps" on the support page of your manufacturer's website.
