Question about Televison & Video
I have a Samsung 22" LCD TV, several months old, which is set up to receive broadcast channels. It is not connected to cable or any other devices, except a Radio Shack HDTV antenna. Occasionally (sometimes frequently), the screen goes blank for a few seconds and a message appears" "Weak or no signal". I have tried making the recommended adjustments in the antenna and also rescanning the channels, but neither of those made a difference. I am not in a remote area. I am 12 miles from the center of Philadelphia.
Weak signal is a weak signal, so not sure what if anything you can do. Buy a satellite subscription???

a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Weak Signal ..
Sounds like you have a bad tuner. The most likely cause on these RCA's is a loose RF antenna input connector. A bypass for now is if you have a VCR use it as the tuner and then connect it to the TV using the composite video inputs. If that faisl as well then you have a bad signal board.

No, when I bought my new plazma tv, and unhooked my old DVR box, I had to go to my cable provider and inform them. they sent a signal and WHAM I was back in Biz.

Just to make sure, you do have analog tuners setup right? Media Center 2005 requires analog tuners be working before digital tuners are allowed.

To get any HDTV to work this is what you have to do;
1) Connect your antenna cable which you have done.
2) Go into the menu to the source option and select AIR/ANTENNA since you are using an antenna.
3) In the menu you will have to SCAN in the stations. This auto program will find all available stations.
Now you can watch tv by selecting the station you want.
The new generation of HDTV is different from the old analog sets. These have to be set up to work.
Exact information can be found in your Users Manual.
