I seen our your web site a solution for a rear proj tv that had a green tint. I have the exact same problem. I will cut and paste the solution Below with my question to follow. Thanks
The first thing I check for this problem when doing a service call is the screen control. It sounds like it needs to be turned down a bit. The screen controls are in the front of the set. Pull off the front speaker grill, you have to pull it off there are no screws and it's a little tough to pull. Remove the panel behind the speaker grill. The screen control is normally black with 6 controls. 3 controls labeled Focus and 3 controls labeled Screens. The center controls are for the green. Find the controls that are labeled Green and turn it counter clockwise until the black is not green anymore. If there is glue on the control, then, peel it off. You may have to adjust it a bit to get the right alignment. When the set is turned on, only use one hand inside the set.
My question is this was the case with that TV does this model PT47WX42 HDTV rear proj also have those same controls under the grill in front?

My Sony LCD projection HD TV model KDF-50WE655 has an irregular blue tinted area in one portion of the screen. It is most noticable when a black and white picture is displayed. The discoloration is not very noticable when viewing a colored picture. Any ideas refarding the cause and cure?

I have a blue double image on my panasonic pt-47wx49e projector tv. I've tried to adjust the convergence from the set up menu. But no matter how many times I try to adjust the green or the blue, only the red crosses will move.
