Question about Lasko 5132 Ceramic Compact Heater

Open Question

Won't oscillate Lasko 5132 Ceramic Oscillating Heater: Nothing happens when I push the Oscillate button. Out of about 15 tries, it came on once, worked for about a minute or two, and then stopped. Found the manual online, but it has no troubleshooting suggestions for this problem. Also discovered that some of these 5132 were recalled, but apparently not mine.

I have a 42" wind

the first thing to check is that the remote control is working and the control panel of the fan itself are working probably and i think they did but you have to check first
this fan oscillating control button is not a mechanical connection like the regular fan so if you are not using it wrong(and i think you don`t ) an if all the buttons are working -except the oscillating function - (and i think they are ) turn that thing back and test it at the shop

I have a lasko tower ceramic heater that keeps shutting down.

mine does the same thing every year. I just clean out the dust from the vents on the back of the heater so the heater can breath otherwise it could get too hot and the safety fetcher kick in and makes the heater stop working.
