Generally any time a button continuously flashes, you either have a bad door switch that doesnt recognize door closing, therefore will not start, or the electronic keyboard/touch pad is shorted out, in which case youll need to replace the console assy

Quite partner iii soak and scour light blinking. Machine wont run

Open the door, press cancel, wait for about 10 seconds, reprogram after you read the owners manual. when that light blinks it's telling you that your not programing something properly.

How do i reset the consol on a westinghouse dishwasher with the buttons rinse only, quick wash, china crystal, normal, pots and pans, soak and scour, hi temp scour, sani scour, air dry and cancel?

Normally you will have to press High Temp and Air dry button alternatively 3 to 4 times within 8 secs until the whole panel lights up. Then press Cancel. That should reset the dishwasher.

Hope this helps. Welcome to fixya.com.. It is a public forum and you can also answer questions by selecting Solve Problems and answering solutions for problems on categories that you are comfortable with.

Pots/pans and normal wash cycle lights blinking fast and soak/scoure continuously lit and start light blinking slow all at the same time. Tried cutting power to reset, it didn't work.

Hello,

Normally removing the power will clear this error code, if not the touch pad is bad. This is a simple repair, you can watch a video that explains how to repair this yourself at the link below.

Hotpoint DWT10 Dishwasher error codes/lights

food stuck in drain pump remove and clean out or scoop out - soak up all water then fill with 3 or 4 hot litres of water . cancel programme , start new one ( first thing unit does is switch to drain cycle ).
Then rock machine back and forth - this sometimes frees jammed debris thus pumping out of machine.
This works for me i have done it several times and it works

Problems with Whirlpool dishwasher model GU1500XTKB0

will these units (silo and jtrip) start back on their own? if so, it is likely they are heating the water.
otherwise it sounds like a logic board, unless there is a defective door switch or sensor issue.
electronics seem to be a recurring problem with whirlpool.
i would ask whirlpool (electorlux) to either buy it back or fix it.
good luck

Blinking Quick Rinse

brent, After doing a little research on this model, I see that Sears put out a service flash concerning this problem. Dishwasher stops in mid cycle and one or more of the lights are flashing. SF22-715. The correction is to replace the existing board with an updated board that controls the line voltage better. Part number 8530928. You could be covered under this flash. The tech will have to eliminate the possibility of a stuck or shorted keypad which will cause this same effect. You can try to get this back in operation by pressing in this order: high temp wash-air dry-high temp wash-air dry. This will put it into a self test mode. Just let it run through if it works. If you don't have those keys try power scour-air dry-power scour-air dry. Catriver...post back.
