Question about Video Game Consoles & Games
Everytime I try and load up Rome: Total War or Barbarian Invasion (I have the gold edition) it says "please insert correct cd-rom and restart the application". But as far as I know this game only came with one disk. It has previously worked before on this computer but when I recently re-installed it this problem arose.
1. Does your DVD-drive still work. If not, you know what to do.
2. Have you tried reinstalling the game?
3. If there really is no way you can repair it, you can download a no-cd exe, which means you don't have to insert the CD to play.
Mind you, this is ONLY legal when you actually own the game!
Download the "fixed exe" here:
If you wonder what version to take, just patch the game to the latest version and download the latest exe.
