SOURCE: Audiovox Infrared Headphones

My set has an led that glows red when on...if batteries in correctly, and switch on...do you have a red "POWER" indicator. If yes, & still no sound, 1-does the other set work? 2- either side of prob set work? 3-VOLUME up all the way? Could be bad receiver/bad speaker(s) bad vol switch.
IF no POWER led on, then 1-bad batteries 2-bad power switch 3-broken internal power lead/wire.
Kids are rough on these things...any sign was dropped, or dunked in a coke? REMOVE ear cushions are screws if yur inclined.... sk

If you don't have anyone in the house, playing with a remote control. And no thing that could produce IR signals, like a laptop a smartphone, PDA or tablet, perhaps the power supply is not 100%.
In lots of Philips TV sets, on the HT transformer contacts the solder looses after some years and that will stop the TV from working, and after cooling down the TV starts working. Be aware in old colour TV sets can be voltages as high as 25.000 volt, so if you don't have the skills, don't open your TV. Not even when the power plug is out, because these voltages can stay there for days.

The remote IR receiver may have gone out, or the logic board is not processing the IR signal from the IR receiver board. You can check and see if the IR receiver board is getting 5vdc feeding it.

Honda Odyssey DVD player sound without the headphones

You can set the sound to play through the car's speakers. If you don't want it too loud in front, you can use the audio setting for the fader to just play in the rear.

Same here, my QC 3's stopped working, bought a new battery and nothing happened. Called Bose 1-877-210-3782 followed the prompts for "english" and "headphones". My QC 3's are 3 years old and out of warranty. Bose agreed to replace the headphones for $75 with free shipping. Better than paying a few hundred. Replacement set will have 1 year warranty.

Wireless Headphone not working with my portable DVD player

Firstly, make sure your DVD have built-in IR wireless module so that your headphone can receive the audio signal from your DVD player.

Second, it should be clear which frequency transmitted from your DVD player. Generally speaking, there are two frequency of IR transmitter. One is 2.3MHz/2.8MHz. another is 3.2MHz/3.87MHz. Only emission frequency same as receiver can receive the audio signal.
