No matter what network your Nokia N95 phone currently runs on, you can unlock it---or "flash" it---to run on any GSM network. You will only be able to use your unlocked Nokia N95 phone on networks that use SIM cards---such as T-Mobile and AT&T---and not on CDMA networks such as Sprint and Verizon, which do not provide SIM cards.
Read more: How to Flash a Nokia N95 Unlocking the Handset 1 Remove the back cover and the battery from your cell phone. Locate a silver sticker with a bar code on it. Take note of the 15-digit IMEI number printed on it. At this time, also remove the SIM card and write down the numbers printed on the back of it. The SIM card is the small, white data chip in the silver cradle right next to the sticker. You will need these numbers to obtain your Nokia unlock code.
2 Request a Nokia N95 unlock code from your service provider. If they cannot provide you with an unlock code, you can buy one online.
3 Replace the SIM card, battery and cover. Fully charge your handset.
4 Turn on your handset and type "#PW+".
5 Enter the unlock code given from your phone company or website. Make sure you dial the number exactly as it was given to you. If you dial this number incorrectly three times, you will be permanently locked out of your handset.
6 Dial "+1#". At this point, the screen on your Nokia N95 should read "SIM Restriction Off."
Inserting SIM Card 1 Switch your handset off and remove the back cover and battery.
2 Remove the SIM card.
3 Insert the new SIM card into the SIM card slot. Now that the phone has been unlocked, this can be a SIM card from any U.S. service provider that uses SIM cards.
4 Replace the back cover and battery and switch the cell phone on. The screen should now read the name of the new service provider
Your Phone says Invalid Sim card means it locked to some Network ....You need to specify the Network Lock,Country,After Unlock it You can use it other Network Sim Card...Otherwise you cannot Use it,....You can get the Unlock code from here
Prounlocking and Unlock it....Your Mobile Made in details No need to specify ,Network lock details and Country is important...
You need to use your phone's master reset code. Please go to this website and enter your IMEI code in the box. It will calculate the unlock code for you. then enter #pw+UNLOCKCODE# on you nokia phone. (you need to do this with the sim card inserted) this should unlock your phone to use with any sim card. Note: IMEI is the International Mobile Eqipment Identity number. To get it type *#06# on the stanby screen of your phone then it will generate the 15 digit IMEI code.
I need the IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number. Type this code in your phone to get it: *#06# you can also find it beneath the battery. I also need to know the network that the phone is locked on, and the country the network is from. Then I will give you the codes.
Compose #pw+yourcode+1# ("yourcode" is meant to be the actual unlock code we gave you)
ie. #pw+000000000000000+1# *** IF THE CODE IS REJECTED, DO NOT TRY AGAIN. ***
Substitute the 1 at the end with 7.
So 2nd time try: #PW+YOURCODE+7#
ie. #pw+000000000000000+7# The letter P appears after you quickly press 3 times the button star ( * ) The letter W appears after you quickly press 4 times the button star ( * ) The letter + appears after you quickly press 2 times the button star ( * )
The phone shows "SIM Restriction Off" and is unlocked! IF YOU HAVE TRIED TO PUT IN AN INCORRECT CODE 3 OR MORE TIMES PREVIOUSLY & YOU GET PHONE RESTRICTED SIGN, THEN YOUR DEVICE IS HARD LOCKED AND MUST BE UNLOCKED WITH WITH A CABLE AND HARDWARE BOX.
