Protect is the special diagnostic mode that starts when the receiver detects an error. Errors are triggered by a lose contact, a short, a contact to ground a blown component, bad or incorrect speakers or a bad connection cable.
Code 21 means DC detection circuit error. This is often started when the speakers are connected. Or if you use a bad video cable.

Ensure that speakers are properly connected and that you are using the right speakers.

Try first removing all other cables apart speakers connection, and unplug power cord fro ten minutes. If it is just the speakers this will clear the error code.

If the error code does not clear by unplugging , then there is either a faulty speaker wiring, or an internal fault, often a short to ground on the input audio connection board.

Sony receiver stR se-501 found fuse burned after replaced turned on the flashing massage PROTECT come on . Did I miss anything?

Protect typically means that the fuse blew because something in your receiver went bad. It's now protecting your speakers from that badness. You need to get the receiver fixed or replaced.

Why Does My Sony reciver say protect when i put it louder than 21

The amplifier stage, which consist of power transistors, is experiencing an overload. Possibly due to the transistors breaking down or the DC threshold level is too high. The latter can be adjust when the input to the transistor is at quiescent or when no input is entering the transistors. I recommend having a professional make the adjustment.

Sony CCD-TVR-16 Handycam tape keeps ejecting and the problem code is c 21:00

You should remove the tape, check it is not full up, or replace it with new tape, I had this problem weeks ago, turned out the write-protect tab on tape had got pushed over to prevent recording.

How to bypass protection mode on my sony receiver

The protection mode is there for a reason...the main one being to protect your speakers in the event that there is an issue with the amplifier. Bypassing the protection can easily result in the destruction of your speakers and the unit itself. Your receiver needs to be examined by a real live technician.
