Power light and the motherboard flashing amber
Same problem - normally on a Dell the amber light states that the power source is working correctly but there is a fault with the motherboard. Normally the dreaded POST error. I have this problem with 2 Dimension C521s but one of them has a fried PCI-e slot and also overheating integrated graphics.

Hi i do have an optiplex 360 dell and when turn on it displays but after the windows is booting then i wont have any display although i tried to install another vga but the same problem persist on all of my 7 desktops. Can u help.

If your powersupply is not working than you gonne have that, but it can all so be that your motherboard is half fried
