How can I download the update software

Hi there,

Yes, there is now a Service Pack 3 available.

Click on your START menu, and you should see a "Windows Update" icon (within the Start Menu).

Click the Windows Update icon and this will open a new browser, taking you to the Microsoft Update website.

From there, you will be able to follow the instructions and the site will search your pc for the appropriate updates. Click on the 'recommended' updates, which should install SP3 for you.

Good luck...

Press any key to boot from the CD when prompted to do so. From the "Welcome to Setup" screen, press "Enter". Accept the license agreement by pressing "F8."

Updating audio drivers Select one of the options below to locate the available audio drivers if you already changed the operating system and you are experiencing sound problems.
    • Go to the HP Drivers and Downloads page and search for updated drivers for your model. Be sure to select the correct operating system.
Or download Conexant High-Definition Audio Driver »
    • If the computer is upgraded to Vista, use HP Update to scan for updated drivers. To use HP Update, click Start , All Programs , HP , HP Update , and then follow the on-screen instructions.
    • If HP has not released specific audio drivers for your operating system, use the Microsoft Windows Update utility, or search the Microsoft web site for generic drivers for Vista. To use Windows Update, click Start , type update into the search field, select Windows Update from the list when it becomes available, click Check for updates , and then install any available updates.

You can also go to search, type in ms office and see if the file is still installed.
