Audio bus driver failed

You need the drivers for your sound card.

If your computer came pre-built and has a model number, google drivers for this computer and install the sound drivers.

If your computer doesn't have a model number, you'll need to open up the case. Once open, if you have a discrete sound card (it's a card that fits into a slot on the motherboard) you'll need to google the make and model of it and find drivers. If you don't have a discrete card, you'll need to google make and model of the motherboard and find drivers that way.

I Can't hear a sound, after I re-format my computer... I tried to instal realtek Ac97, no difference at all... :((

You have formatted the sound Card driver(also called audio card driver).
You need to give the following three pieces of information in order for your audio driver to be downloaded from the internet if you do not have the CD for drivers that come with the hardware.

  1. You need to give your current Operating system (Windows XP, Windows Vista or Linux....etc)
  2. Your sound Card Manufacturer (Vendor).
  3. The Model number of your sound card.
Good Luck!

NO SOUND

It sound like your computers sound card drivers might be un-installed. Assuming you have a dell computer go to the following link http://support.dell.com/support/index.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs Click on Drivers and Downloads type in your service tag number located on the side of your case. Scroll down and find the sound card driver relevant to your operating system, download and install. Let me know how you make out.

Acer Aspire sound card not working

Most drivers are available at Acers support website for free, if this sound card is an integrated part of the motherboard. If this is an ad-in audio card that fits into a slot on the motherboard, then you will need to get the driver from the audio manufactures' website.
Drivers are usually listed by operating system, so make sure you know which one is your running on your computer so that you pick the correct download. please post again here if you have specific information you need help with. If you post your computer model number , operating system model & wether the soundcard is on the motherboard or an ADD-In card, I can find the downloads for you.

No sound card detected

Sometimes the computer will not recognize the sound card until the drivers have been installed. Try running setup from the install disk that came with the sound card. If it is not a new sound card, let me know what brand and model number it is and I will let you know where to download the drivers. Hope this helps...

Sound Card drivers

It sounds like you just need to identify your specific sound card, and then get the drivers for it. To do this, it's easiest to find the device and vendor id's for your card. Luckily, windows can easily tell you them even if you don't have the drivers yet. To do it, follow these instructions:
  1. Right click on My Computer, and choose Manage.
    1f9003c.png
  2. Now in the box on the right, find your sound card. It will have an icon with a small yellow exclamation mark next to it. Right click on it, and choose properties.
You should see a windows similar to this one:
    889b019.jpg
  3. That is the text that will identify your sound card. From here, you'll need to pull out the VEN_#### and DEV_#### numbers.
  4. Once you have those numbers, head to http://www.pcidatabase.com. Do a device search by entering only the 4 letters and numbers found in the DEV_#### part. It will pull up a list of devices, and from there you can identify your sound card.
If you are not able to uniquely identify your sound card, then comment back with the DEV_#### and VEN_#### numbers, and i'll help you find it.
