SOURCE: Nissan 2007 Frontier tire pressure monitoring system

You need to set all the pressures to 35 psi. first then drive for approx.1/4 mile. If this doesn't work to reset the light (keep in mind the code itself will still be stored even though the light goes off) you will need to take it to your Nissan Dealer to have it scanned as there may be a malfunction with the sensor. If faulty and you are under 36k miles then it should be covered under your factory warranty. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Release the spare tire?

The spare tyre is on a cradle under the rear of the car. the long crank handle is clipped onto the underside of carpeted boot floor board. The crank handle goes into the hole just above the bumper in the centre of the rear bumper, then wind down the chain and support to release the spare wheel.

SOURCE: spare tire won't release.

This is the worst GM engineering i have ever seen !!!! The secondary locking mech. rust itself in the locked position on will NOT allow the tire to lower. After lowering the tire down approx. 2-4" the saftey lock is still engaged. I was able to reach above the tire and remove the bolt holding the hoist in place. {15 mm wrench}. Keep a floor jack under the tire to support it and as not to fall on your head. After removing the bolt the hoist is hooked on the frame member and must be lifted off to remove. Once you get it on the garage floor it is possible to disengage the locking mech. with a few tools and a big hammer. Good luck This should be a Recall

How do I open the tailgate on my 2001 nissan frontier , the handles broke , I don't have the key ,

Hello. That tailgate latch has to be removed to gain access to those actuating rods behind it. Then, you simply pull one and push the other to open the tailgate. Keep me informed; if you want to.

How to remove spare tire from 2007 nissan frontier?

Not sure about the 2007 but in an earlier one I owned there was a key-slot opening above the rear bumper (and below the tailgate) that you put the jack handle into and cranked it down using the chain lift mechanism that was built into it.

Where do i find the location of the spare tire jack for my 2001 Suburban?

in my burb, the jack and all the components are in a compartment located between the 3rd row seat cupholder and the mesh/container compartment. it's kind of deep and it has a small indednt for a handle, lift that and it should pop right out, then you can undo the nut to release the jack and wheel chokes. then follow konkomados's steps to lower your spare at the back

How do i get my spare tire down? special tool? where?

Hello! Here is procedure to remove spare tire...Guru...saailer

  1. Park on a level surface and put on the emergency brake. If the car is near the side of a road, switch on the hazard lights.
  2. Locate the tire repair kit. It consists of a jack, a jack rod and a wheel nut wrench. In the regular cab, pull the entire seat bench forward. The tools are located behind the drivers seat. The King cab model has a tool case located directly behind the driver's seat. The Crew cab stows the tools behind the back bench. Pull the bench forward and remove the tools.
  3. Insert the square end of the jack rod into the square hole in the nut wrench. This gives the jack rod a handle.
  4. Find an oval shaped hole in the back of the truck under the middle of the tailgate. Look through the hole and find the winch for the spare tire. It is a circle with two notches.
  5. Insert the T-shaped end of the jack rod into the hole. Slip the T-shape into the double notched circle of the winch.
  6. Turn the jack rod counterclockwise to lower the spare tire to the ground.
  7. When the tire is completely lowered to the ground, remove the center retainer chain and pull the tire out from under the truck.
  8. Wind the jack rod clockwise to completely retract the retainer chain

How do I remove the spare tire on my 2001 chevy surburban?

Typically all Suburban spare tires are mounted on an under-car carrier. This carrier is usually accessed through a covered key way at the rear bumper near the license plate step. The jack that comes with the Suburban also has a crank rod that is used to raise and lower the jack. The other end of the rod is designed to access the key way to crank the spare tire lift up or down. Cranking the lift in a counterclockwise rotation will lower the spare tire.

I hope this helps:)
