Traverse unit (spindle motor & laser assembly combined) is most likely faulty. The motor part usually fails first, which stops the discs from spinning, so the inbuilt laser cannot read them, hence the error code. This can be expensive to replace.
You can try to clean the laser by opening the unit and wiping gently with a cue tip or cotton swab, but if you are getting a H07 errorit may be somethng more serious and require a replacementof the dvd drive.I hope this helps. Good luck.
HELLO
I have just recently posted a cure for this - but here we go again. Fault H07 is the fault code for the spindle/disc motor and to cure it do this!
With the lid of the player removed, locate the spindle and where the motor shaft goes into the motor itself, use a little light oil or WD40. Let it soak in a while and try it again - you should now find it works.
Why this works I just don't know - it just does! (:-)
hi..the reason to this problem is the motor. It may
be either spindle motor problem or the motor is not
spinning up.

hey I just messed around with mine it was showing that code H07 like the others its kinds the same except it holds 4 more disc, I took the top off then I took the thing that holds cd still off!, there should be a brass thing I think thats for the ground, so I ended up putting some synthetic oil on the rails silver poles that the laser slides on, and where the disc sits on that black circle under it, you can see the motor it has a white thing on the motores pole so I just put a few drops on there then spinds it put some more on hoping it works its way DOWN INTO THE MOTOR thats the H07 not spining fast enough!! I put a disk in while everything was apart and its playing right now, the oil I desided to use was the stuff I use for my paintball gun lol! its really thin and slippory and im sure it will last for awhile!.... going to add more after 15 minutes of playing just to make sure its really lubed! hope this helps!!!!
While stopped, press and hold REWIND and PAUSE on the unit and then also press and hold OPEN/CLOSE on the unit until Initialized appears from the display. Turn the unit off and on again.
If it is still not working, Panasonic Consumer Support recommends having the product checked by an authorized Panasonic service center.
