I think they have to be programmed into the game (whatever)that is? Most game programmers do this anyway but in some games they use emulation such as what you experience ie;W,A,S,Z(they emulate the arrow keys).....there is no way out of this unless you go in to the game programme itself. Thats why you couldnt find any in C++

Is there a way to turn arrows on and off?

on the keyboard laptop itself you can not , but you do that when plug another USB keyboard And follow the following instructions :

    • 1 Use your USB port to install a wireless keyboard. You'll only need it during this process.
  • 2 Download an application to remap your keyboard. InchWest makes the MapKeyboard program that will work (see Resources). For InchWest, after you click the link for the download, you will see a dialogue box giving you the option to unzip the file. Click "OK" to unzip the program. Open and run the MapKeyboard file. SharpKeys and KeyTweak are two other applications that operate similarly.
  • 3 Disable the arrow keys using the layout that will appear on your screen. Highlight one of the arrow keys, and then, in the field at the lower left of the screen, type in the key that you want to take over the arrow function. Save your changes. The program will ask you for permission to get into your registry to finish the remap, so grant the permission if you have administrator rights. The program requires .NET Framework 2.0 or an updated version to make changes to the keyboard function; if your computer doesn't already have it, you can download it for free from Microsoft.

I touched a button on the keyboard that turned the page sideways.. it turned it to the left. how do I turn the page right side up?

Actually you hit a combination of keys. Most likely you hit Ctrl+Alt and an arrow key. Try Ctrl+Alt+the up arrow. If that rotates the screen to upside down, repeat the combination twice more (or use Ctrl+Alt+the down arrow twice).

If that doesn't work, if you have a Windows OS, try the Screen Resolution or Graphics Display settings. Right click on the desktop anyplace with no running programs or icons, select Screen Resolution and then change the drop down for Orientation. This works on my desktops. For my laptop, it's the Graphic Display and then a similar orientation label.

    I hope this helps.

How can I get my laptop screen to rotate back to the original screen position?

to rotate the screen in the laptop you can do in two ways.make sure you close all the programs running in the computer before attempting these two steps
    1) press and hold the ctrl and alt in the keypad they'll be located at the bottom left part of keyboard..while holding these two keys simultaneously press any one of the four navigation keys(Up,Down,Right,Left arrow keys) depending on how the screen is currently..if its upside down press up arrow key if its tilted towards right press left vice versa.
2)right click on desktop choose graphics settings and then choose display settings where you'll have the option to rotate the screen..

good luck hope this resolves the issue
