Hsonic75, You need to do the flashlight test the next time your LCD goes to a black screen. Make sure that PC is fully booted with a Windows Desktop showing. then reconnect the 563LE to PC. Turn on the 563LE and note how long it takes to go dark. After you get dark screen, shine bright flashlight at different angles close to screen. Do you still see a faint image of the desktop? Let me know results of test. How old is this monitor? Is it covered by a warranty? Have you called LG (Lucky Goldstar) to find out if they have a swapout program? You send your monitor+$40-$90 and they ship you a same model REFURBISHED(with new CCF tubes/SMPS/INVERTER boards) back to you. Your complaint sure sounds like an INVERTER or Switch-Mode-Power-supply problem to me! All you need to do is a search on net for: 'bad caps in lcd monitors' or 'bad caps on lcd boards' and you will be inundated with more than you need to know! I'm louie12fix on fixya or lmistyrel@ aol.com
Bye for now.

I need to find the driver for an lg flatron e2041 monitor

You didn't specify which OS you use. So, the following is a link to a compressed package of basic Windows driver files for your monitor directly from LG:http://tinyurl.com/LGFlatron-e2041.

Once you download the "zip" package, navigate to it using Windows Explorer, right-click the package, and "extract all".

White display on my lg flatron L192ws

Most common problems with LCD monitors arises due to weak or damaged capacitors. Disconnect the power and signal supply from monitor, then open the case gently. Use a flat screwdriver for pry opening the case, after removal of screws. Here you have to look for faulty capacitors on the circuit. On the PCB of the monitor, check each capacitor for deformation/leakage around it. In case of any doubt, it's better to replace the capacitor, as they are inexpensive. The only thing is that you should use the correct rating capacitor for replacement. You will need a soldering iron, and at best a multimeter for carrying out the job. After doing all this, assemble the monitor back, and your monitor will be working fine.
Caution : If you are finding yourself uncomfortable with all the work doing yourself, then ask for help from a qualified technical person.

Black screen on my LG Flatron lcd 563le

I solved the problem myself by disconnecting the monitor from the computer and then I unplugged the computer. I restarted the computer in position fail safe (F8) and tried to change the monitors resolution back to origin, failed to do so and rebooted instead. When Windows loaded up the problem was gone! Yipeyiiiii!

LG L194WT Monitor suddenly stop working

it is probably indicative of a switched mode powersupply trying to start then seeing a short and then trying to start again...this will cycle continuously until fault is rectified..any component that can drain the powersupply is the culprit...you need some way of detaching the powersupply from the load (monitor) to see if the power supply its self is the cause and also check if there is a loop back (a pulse) for continuous running.
