I have an HP PL4260N Plasma TV. When I click source on my remote, all entries on the list are "cable". When I first bought the tv, it listed out all the different connectors (eg HDMI, Svideo, etc.). Now the entire list is Cable. Is there a config I can select to get the comprehensive source list?
Did you just install a cable box? Is it in between your other sources and the TV? If it is, try changing the imput on the cable box instead.

-   No. I have a Yamaha Amp between the DVR and TV all connected by HDMI cables. The Wii is connected directly to the tv using component, and I also have my laptop hooked directly to the tv using the standard projector port. The TV used to show the list of all connections (HDMI, Svideo, Component, etc etc) when I clicked "Source" on the remote. Now all the entries on the list read "CAble"

Video board is most likely damaged from a electrical spike, you may try looking at the capacitors on the boards inside the tv and see if they are damaged capacitors are an easy solution to problems some of the time.
